Hello everyone...
It's been a while...So far, 2008 has been really stressful for me. It is my final semester at CBS and I've got a lot of work to do before the end of June:
And on top of that I need to figure out what to do when I get my degree...should I continue my studies to get my candidate degree or should I look for a job and start my career? It's all very confusing and to be honest I don't cope well with huge decisions...I get very stressed!
I have managed to knit two pair of socks so far...

Pattern: Waving lace by Evelyn A. Clark (in the book Favorite Socks)
Yarn: Opal Uni Solid colorway 18
Needles: 2mm

Pattern: Pomatomus by Cookia A.
Yarn: Araucania Ranco Solid (PT483)
Needles: 2.25mm
I've almost finished a pair of Charade and yesterday I began working on "Vår Sjal".
I'm afraid that the blog will be quiet for the next few months...please bear with me or catch me on Ravelry :o)

I bought the new book by Stieg Larsson yesterday and I've read just over 100 pages and it's amazing so far! I had plans to actually go to school today, but I think I'll just stay home and read instead. I hate Tuesdays at school, we've got 2 subjects, and it's something we've already had on earlier semesters! It's just such a waste of time showing up...on top of that the teacher is really not that inspiring...see how I'm trying to convince myself that it's okay to stay home *lol*
This weekend we experienced a bit of rioting in Vanløse. Squatters wanted to occupy a house on Grøndalsvænge Alle 13, but the police didn't quite agree to the plan so around 450 persons were arrested. Luckily the rioting wasn't half as bad as when Faderhuset evicted the squatters from Ungdomshuset in March 2007. I agree that the local council shouldn't have sold Ungdomshuset in the first place, but I seriously don't agree with the violent methods the squatters are using. Violence should never be rewarded! But it's a tricky situation...
Back to Stieg Larsson ;o)

I have been tagged by Rikke
Rules:
My truths:
I'm tagging:
My mum, Kimberly, Vivian, Trine, Jeanette, Brenda and I'll leave the last spot open to anybody who hasn't been tagged and wants to participate :o)
Dear Mum,
Wow, the shawl looks amazing - I'm sure Kirsten loved it!
Thank you very much for teaching me how to crochet! Amigurumi here I come ;o)
The first thing I made was a kitchen thingy...perhaps it will be a dishcloth.

Then I got adventurous and made Bette the Bird...my very first amigurumi (this is an amigurumi isn't it?).

The pattern for the bird is here and it is very easy. Great beginners pattern. The yarn I used for both projects is Mayflower Cotton 8.
I can't believe September went so fast...being back in school is really stressful. It's my last year of my bachelor and I thought it would get easier, but there's so much to read and so little time...sigh.
Daniel's grandfather was also seriously ill at the beginning of the month - so ill that we thought that he would die, but he's a strong guy and is doing much much better now. Hopefully he'll be allowed to come home to Daniel's grandmother soon.
Well, I'd better get on with my reading...please feel a little sorry for me ;o)
